Anna Schumaker Obituary
Anna L. Schumaker, 92, Windsor Township, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, where she was since Sunday.
Her husband, Fred H. Schumaker, died June 10, 1990.
Born in Richmond Township, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Alice (Moyer) Hess.
She first worked at Price Battery Corp. in Hamburg. She then worked as a sewing machine operator at Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, until retiring in the mid-1980s.
Surviving are two sons, Herbert R., husband of Donna L. (Reichel) Schumaker, Fleetwood, and Melvin C., husband of Elaine K. (Kunkel) Schumaker, Danville. There are seven grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children.
Anna was predeceased by a son, Elmer, and infant twin boys. She was also predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from New Bethel Cemetery, Grimville, Greenwich Township.
Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
