Charles Schwab Obituary


Charles "Butch" Schwab Jr., 75, of Laureldale, passed away peacefully at home

surrounded by his loving family on

Saturday, February 24th.

He was the beloved husband of Gail (Strause) Schwab. Charlie and Gail would have celebrated fifty-four years of marriage on June 13, 2018.

Born in Evansville on August 9, 1942, he was the son of the late Charles Schwab Sr. and Anna (Borrell) Schwab.

Charlie was employed by Arrow International for forty-five years as a set-up man and later in the maintenance

department.

Charlie enjoyed traveling to Delaware where he would go clamming, fishing and enjoyed time sitting in his garage.

He was a loving father to his daughters, Jacquelyn

Robinson, of Pottsville, and Tracy Schrum, wife of Timothy Schrum Jr., of Spring Twp.

He was a loving Pop-Pop to his grandchildren: Kody Frank, of Pottsville, and Jennifer and Alyssa Schrum, of Spring Twp.

He is survived by his siblings: Shirley Endy, of Temple; Darlene Noll, of Virginia; Theresa, wife of Donald Becker, of Blandon; and Agnes, wife of James Schittler, of Blandon.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Linda, wife of Joe Poole, of Ontelaunee Twp.

Also, there are several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a brother, Richard Schwab, and a sister, Anna Fenstermacher; he is survived by her husband, Ronnie Fenstermacher, of Fleetwood.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He will now be with his beloved Buterbal in heaven.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 2nd, at 11 a.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, with Chaplain Jim Yoder officiating.

A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and March of Dimes at marchofdimes.org.
