Charles Sloss Obituary

Charles A. "Chuck" Sloss, 55, of Harbeson, Delaware, passed away Friday June 30, 2023 at 3:10 am at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Delaware. He was the husband of Linda A. (Epler) Sloss. Born in Philadelphia, Chuck was the son of Robert and Carol A. (Crossley) Sloss of Pottstown. He attended Hope Lutheran Church in Reading and served in the United States Army. Chuck was employed by Fidelity Information Systems in Birmingham, Alabama as a System Analyst last working June 29, 2023. He loved fishing and being on his boat with friends and family. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was the life of any party. Chuck was a volunteer at World War II weekend in Reading and the Civil Air Patrol. He also collected model trains loved to visit all the train museums. He lived his dream of moving to the beach and fishing on his boat. Chuck was a generous man and would do anything for anyone especially his wife Linda. In addition to his wife Linda and parents, Chuck is survived by his sisters Mary K. DeNicco wife of James DeNicco of Houston, Texas; Lynn M. Giamvu wife of David Giamvu of Douglassville; his brother Robert C. Sloss of Pottstown; nieces Sofie, Lucy, Cecelia, Naomi and nephews Gabriel and Vinny. He is also survived by his beloved dog Petey and was preceded in death by his biological mother Christine (Tusing) Sloss and his grandmother Elisabeth Tusing. Chuck will be helping others by being able to donate some of himself to the Gift of Life. Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 7:30 pm. Reverend Mary E. Wolfe will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Please make your check payable to Transplant Foundation in Memory of Charles Sloss. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com

"Chalie" was the best big brother I could ever ask for. We are so thankful for all of the years we got to spend with him.
