David Brendel Obituary


David F. Brendel, 68, of Reading, PA, passed away on April 6, 2013, while on vacation in Thailand. He was the son of the late Leroy and Anna Brendel, Reading.

David was a graduate of Reading High School. He retired in 1995 from the Reading Fire Department, where he was a fireman for 29 years.

David was predeceased by brother, Donald R. Brendel.

In lieu of condolences, contributions may be made in David's memory to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17003.

David always had a friendly smile and cheery hello for those that came into the fire house. I remember him being around with other guys that worked in the same fire station. Rest peacefully David.
