David James Hendricks, 51 of Amity Twp., Berks Co. PA died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Penn Highland DuBois in Du Bois, PA. Born November 24, 1970 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas Carl Hendricks and Sue Ann (Kutz) Wunderlich of Douglassville, PA. He was the husband of Tina Marie (Dierolf) Hendricks. He was the owner of DJ Hendricks Firewood and was a truck driver for West Motor Freights. He was a member of the Amity Fire Co. and an assistant Boy Scout master of Troop #597. David enjoyed camping, hiking, hunting and trains. Surviving along with his wife and mother are daughters, Lydia Marcella Hendricks of Douglassville, PA and Katharyne Ann Hendricks of Douglassville, PA. He was predeceased by sister, Kathryn Marcella Hendricks. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Dengler Funeral Home, 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amityville, PA.
