David Lumb Obituary

David Lumb David Lumb, 90, of Reading, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Anna (Sommers) and Charles Lumb. David graduated from Roxborough High School and then Drexel University, where he met his wife of 68 years, Olive Lumb. After raising their children in Devon, PA, David and Olive spent many happy retirement years in Longport, NJ and at the Heritage of Green Hills in Reading, PA. David was a wonderful cook and a talented artist. His family thankfully has many beautiful paintings to remember him by. He loved to fish, play golf and spend time with family and friends. David is survived and will be greatly missed by his daughter Tracy Walker and her husband Douglas Walker, his son Steven and his husband Rafael Altieri, and his grandsons, Kyle and Brandon Walker. The family plans to celebrate David’s and Olive’s lives by scattering their ashes in Longport, NJ in 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Condolences to David's family. At the Heritage he attended my Tai Chi classes and always enjoyed a little chat. His picture of a Golden Eagle is still reminding me of him each time I see it. RIP.
