Deanna Reber Obituary

Deanna Reber, 50, passed away on Sept. 4, 2021 after a courageous battle with COVID-19. For 28 years, she was a devoted wife to her husband John Reber. Her three children—Ryan (Laura Reber), Kelseyleigh (Ben Hepler), and Kyle Reber—and granddaughter Haylee Reber are forever her greatest treasures. She is also survived by her father Bud Ray and siblings, Michele (Michael Lill), Bruce Ray (Teri); and Colleen (Michael Vallonio); and Albert Ray.  Deanna loved to travel, garden, DIY, and spend time with her family and St. Bernards. She collected her life’s memories in beautiful scrapbooks. She dedicated 29 years to helping others as a Reading Hospital ICU nurse. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life service scheduled for Sept. 14, 2021 at Kuhn Funeral Home in West Reading. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 8 p.m. Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, please donate to https://www.gofundme.com/f/fighting-for-deanna.  Deanna’s dying wish was that everyone get vaccinated so we can protect our loved ones from COVID-19.

After reading the article in the newspaper, I wanted to reach out to you, John and extend my condolences to you and your children. She sounded like she was a great woman, a great partner, and a great mother. My heart goes out to you and I'm sure she will be missed. May she rest in peace.
