Born in Birdsboro, he was a son of Miriam (Bechtel) and Charles Blank.
Mr. Blank had worked as a machine operator for Mid-Atlantic Packaging, Montgomeryville.
He was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his ex-wife and friend, Rita A. (Hornyak), and a son, Dennis W. Blank Jr., of Stowe. There are also three brothers: Barry Blank, Robert Blank and David Blank, all of Birdsboro; a sister, Sharon A. Blank, Cumru Township; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown, with the Rev. John Smolik officiating.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
A viewing will be Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Shelly Stockmal, National Penn Bank, 400 Creekside Dr., Suite 401, Pottstown, PA 19464 or to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, 3400 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA.
