Dennis Waldman Obituary


Dennis S. Waldman, 67, a resident of DaySpring Homes, Reading, passed away April 7, 2015, in the Reading Hospital.

Born on June 21, 1947, in Reading, he was the son of the late Robert and Sophie (Maslar) Waldman.

Dennis was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church.

He was employed at Prospectus-Berco in the Kutztown Road location for 38 years, where he was one of the first people to enter into the program.

Survivors include several cousins; he was predeceased by his brother, Robert B. Waldman in 1963.

He will be sadly missed by his family, DaySpring Homes residents and caregivers and by all who Dennis had touched on their lives.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dennis' memory to DaySpring Homes, 430 Hazel Street, Reading, PA 19611.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, 925 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601, Monday, April 13, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.; Rev. Angel L. Garcia celebrant. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring and Monday at church 8:45-9:45 a.m.
