Douglas Fahnauer Obituary
Douglas W. Fahnauer, 53, of Reading, and formerly
of Sinking Spring, passed away January 23, 2016, at
the Manor Care, Sinking Spring, after a 3-month illness.
He was the son of the late Carl S. and Delores G. Fahnauer.
Doug was a cook by trade and worked at various restaurants and hospitals in the area.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Cheryl, wife of Arthur Bond, of Wernersville, and Carla, wife of Eric Stubbs, of Denver, Pa.; 5 nieces: Jennifer Taylor, of Shillington; Jessica Bond, of Pottsville; Jamie Bond, of Wernersville; Jodi Bond, of Robesonia; and Ashley Stubbs, of Ephrata; nephews: Jason Bond, of West Lawn, Jonathan Bond, of Wernersville, and John Stubbs, of Stevens; 6 great-nephews and 5 great-nieces.
Services are being handled privately by the family.
Stanton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Honey Brook, Pa., has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Doug was my friend and neighbor from the 300 block of linden street. He later became my co-worker at St. Joseph hospital. My prayers are with the family.
