Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Earl G. and Naomi (Tronth) Printz.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was employed for many years in the area as a diesel mechanic, until retiring. Following retirement he was employed as a school bus driver with the Wilson School District and the Berks County Intermediate Unit.
Earl loved fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed his hobby of restoring antique automobiles.
Earl is survived by his son, Jeremey E. Printz and his wife, Ashley, of Ephrata. He is also survived by his grandsons, Stephen and Zachary Hendrickson, both of Ephrata; and his great-granddaughter, Raelynn Hendrickson. Earl is also survived by his companion, Susan Loeper of Powell, Ohio.
He was predeceased by his sister, Sindey Mae Printz.
Services will be held in Auman's, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading (Exeter Township), on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Family will receive friends and family on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m., in the funeral home.
