Edwin Stufflet Obituary

Edwin A. Stufflet, 88, Reading, died Oct. 16, 2008, in St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Reading, he was a son of the late Harry S. and Maude (Ludwig) Stufflet.

Edwin served in the United States Army in World War II in field artillery.

He worked as a knitter for Talbott Knitting Mills, retiring in 1984.

He was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, Reading.

Mr. Stufflet is survived by his wife, Helen E. (Clemmer) Stufflet, Reading; his two sons, Gregory S. Stufflet, Flying Hills; and Brian R. Stufflet, and his wife, Bonita, Reading; two step grandchildren, Joel Blankenbiller and Mariellen Blankenbiller; and a step great-granddaughter, Alexa Blankenbiller.

Private services will be held in Auman Funeral Home, Reiffton.

Dear Helen and family, please accept our sincere condolences in the passing of Ed. I'll always remember him from St. Matthew's and seeing him around East Reading when I lived there. May God bless all of you, Louise (Riegel) Kulp and husband Barry.
