Everett was born in Reading on June 23, 1923, a son of the late Sadie (Kohl) and Irvin Keffer and was the husband of Irene
(Augustine) Keffer, of Cumru Twp.
He was 1941 graduate of Shillington High School and served in the U.S. Navy as a
Seaman First Class SV6 from 1943 to 1945 and was a Purple Heart recipient as well as receiving the American Campaign Ribbon, European-Africa-Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon and Victory Medal of WWII. He was employed as a foreman at Teledyne Amco,
formerly American Safety Table, for 40 years, retiring in 1990.
Everett was a member of Immanuel UCC, Shillington, and member of the Pen Wyn Motor Assoc., Sinking Spring VFW Post 6150, Cushing Peak Rod and Gun Club,
Lincoln Park, Gouglersville and Fritztown Fire Company.
Everett is survived by his daughter, Susan, wife of
Ronald Woessner, of Robesonia; three sons: Martin,
husband of Sherry Buck-Keffer, of Shoemakersville; Brent, husband of Brenda Keffer, of Robesonia; Kent Keffer, of Kenhorst; step-daughter, Robin Werner, of Shillington;
and sister, Jane, widow of Paul Shower, of Exeter.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Melrose Adams, Joyce Smith, and brothers, Harold Keffer and Vernon Keffer.
Family and Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 6
to 7 p.m. at Klee Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Shillington. Religious service will follow at 7 p.m.
Interment will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
