Fern was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Franklin Renner, with whom she had shared over 42 years of marriage. Born in Ashland, PA a daughter of the late Albert and Irene Bricker.
Fern was a member, Past Matron and District Deputy of the Order of the Eastern Star, Morning Light Chapter No. 312, Hatboro and Chapter No. 251 Reading. She was a Grand Representative to Washington and head of hospitality for Grand Chapter 2014. Fern also was a charter member and past President of Women's Service Group at the United Church of Christ in Warminster, a member of the PA Retired Teachers Association, the Red Hat Society, a charter member of the Horsham Senior Citizens and the Ben Wilson Senior Center.
She was a season ticket holder for the Reading Fightin' Phils.
Fern held a Master's degree in teaching from Mansfield University and was a former Eastern Montgomery County Vocation Teacher and a teacher in the Ashland School District.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryll Oestreich and her husband, Daniel, her son, Franklin Renner, her brother, Donald Bricker and his wife, Catherine, three grandchildren: Ryan and his wife, Melanie, Alex and Amy Oestreich and her great-granddaughter, Kaylee Grace Oestreich, along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, January 28th after 10:00 a.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro followed by her Eastern Star Service and Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Her Interment will follow in Pine Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Warminster.
If desired, memorials in Fern's memory may be made to either the Scholarship Fund or the Caring and Sharing fund, both at Order of the Eastern Star, Grand Chapter, 105 Freemason Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022-3156 or to a charity of the donor's choice.

A few years ago we became to be members in OES in READING CHAPTER, I worked with her at Sessions at our Grand Chapter in York, June 2014. I remember her as Miss Bricker, was she our homeroom teacher and taught us cooking and sewing. We lived in the same area and saw each other every now and then. very nice lady. RIP
