Frederick Reigle Obituary


Frederick L. Reigle, 73, of Fleetwood, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at home. He was the husband of

Kathy McAlice.

Born in Danville, Pa., he was the son of the late Emerson and Ethel (Cook) Reigle.

He was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees. Fred received his J.D. from Villanova Law School. He maintained a private law practice in Berks County since 1972.

Fred served as the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania since 1981. He was a member of the Steering Committee and a past chairman for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference.

Fred had a lifelong interest in classic firearms. He was a music lover and musician.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, he is survived by one son, John; and one daughter, Laura Campling, wife of Robert; grandchildren, Grace and Ben; and two nephews and three nieces.

He is predeceased by one brother, Neil; and one sister, Phyllis Reed.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with services

beginning at 12:00 p.m. in Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Reading. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the

Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.

I am so sorry to learn of Fred's passing. Fred and I were classmates from Kindergarten thru graduation in 1963 from Shamokin High School. He attended our 25th Class Reunion party in 1988 and that was the last time we saw him. My sincere sympathy to his family.
