Jacqueline Clark Obituary


Jacqueline Wilma Clark, 81, of Laureldale Borough died May 31, 2012, in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

Born Oct. 10, 1930, in Shamokin, Northumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Peter John and Mina Louise (Morning-wake) Clark.

Jacqueline was a 1948 graduate of Shamokin High School.

She was employed as an examiner with Van Heusen Corporation, retiring in 1997.

Jacqueline was a member of both the Laureldale Beneficial Association and the Central Fire Company.

Surviving are her two sisters, Harriett A. Clark, Laureldale, and M. Alice Kopet-sky, Temple; a brother, George C. Clark, Danville; a niece, Deborah A. Kopetsky, Reading; three nephews: Leonard C. Kopetsky, Temple, Brian J. Kopetsky, Reading, and Geoffrey C. Clark, Danville; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline was predeceased by a dear friend, Shirley A. Freese.

A memorial service will be Monday at noon in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at Laureldale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, PA 19604 and/or the Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.

My prayers go out to the family and friends. Jackie may be gone in body but not forgotten . Her funny sence of humor will live on in each and everyone of us . She will be missed dearly.
