James Cooling Obituary
James Daniel Cooling, 62, and Michele Jean Cooling, 65, of Denver, Pa., passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, due to an
automobile accident.
James was born in Reading, on May 3, 1956, a son of Mary M. (Young) Cooling and the late
Howard L. Cooling. Michele was born in Reading, January 28, 1953, a daughter of the late Miguel E. and Thelma
(Martin) Gonzalez.
James was a 1974 Wilson High School graduate and
Michele was a 1971 Reading High School graduate. They were married on September 6, 1980, and were inseparable. James was employed by Steve Moyer Nissan as a parts representative, working until his passing. Michele was
employed by Tower Health Reading Hospital as an LPN for 43 years, working until her passing. Both were looking
forward to their retirement.
They both loved classic cars and car shows with their friends and both cherished their '58 Chevy. James and
Michele loved all types of music, especially The Grateful Dead and Gov't Mule and also enjoyed traveling and going to concerts together. James would always acknowledge
veterans who served our country.
Surviving is James's sister, Robin M., and her husband, Mark Barr, of Mohrsville; nephew, Kelly Tobias; Michele's brother, Michael E. Gonzalez, widower of Betsy Gonzalez, of Temple; nephews: Allan Gonzalez, Seth Gonzalez, Collin Gonzalez; and their 2 cats, Willie and Mindy.
Michele was predeceased by her sister, Doris Gonzalez. Graveside services will be Friday, August 17, 2018, at
1:00 p.m., at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Reading. "Together Forever." Everyone attending please meet at the entrance to the cemetery.

I was shocked to here about Jim & Mickey. I knew Jim Since we were in our teens, we would always touch base from time to time especially at car shows. My thoughts and condolences to both family's Rest in peace Jim & Mickey.

Mickie was my next door neighbors for years, She was in a lot of my classes at school. She had great loving parents She also has a wonderful sister Doris Gonzales who passed way too soon and a wonderful brother Micheal Gonzales , they will be missed by many, so sorry for all your losses, and Micheal Gonzales I am thinking and praying for you
