Janet Hoffert Obituary


Janet M. (Brock) Hoffert, 80, of

Wernersville, passed away Wednesday,

September 20, 2017 at Stone Ridge

Poplar Run, Myerstown. She was the wife of Kenneth A. Hoffert.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Margaret Helen (McElreavey) Brock.

She was a member of First Reformed Church,

Wernersville, and also a member of the Wernersville

Women's Club.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son,

Dennis A. Hoffert, Spring Twp.; a daughter, Wendy J., wife of James Bright, Robesonia; and two grandchildren,

Jennifer, wife of Brian Lust, and Christopher Bright.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Helene Correll.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with her pastor, the Rev. Paul Harvey officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 p.m.,

Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish® America Gift Processing, 4742 North 24th Street, Suite 400 Phoenix, AZ 85016, or to The

American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
