Joyce Wunderlich Obituary
Joyce (Levengood) Wunderlich, 85, of Douglassville, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Penn State Health St. Joseph in Bern Twp., Berks County, Pa.
Born on April 14, 1931, in Douglass Twp., Berks Co., Pa., Joyce was the daughter of the late Lewis Herman Levengood and Esther (Moyer) Levengood. She was the wife of Garson W. Wunderlich Jr.
Joyce was a member of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, Douglassville, Pa., and Bird Chapter #460 O.E.S.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son, Garson W. Wunderlich III, husband of Wendy, of Douglassville, Pa.; 2 daughters, Donna L., wife of F. Frederick Melpolder, of Sanford, N.C., and Linda Diane, wife of Richard William Miller, of Douglassville, Pa.; 7 grandchildren; Adrian, Alex, Yvonne, Melissa, Danielle, Erika and Meredith; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Joyce enjoyed bird watching, bird feeding and she would listen to Jack's Back Yard on Saturday mornings. She loved flower gardening, puzzles, traveling and cooking.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 1188 Benjamin Franklin Hwy. E., Douglassville, PA, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, N. Coventry Twp., Chester Co., Pa.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be sent to St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church – Memorial Fund, Box 396, Douglassville, PA 19518, or National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
