I was a student at HHS Class of 1958 and Liz was at the top of my list. He was suave and sophisticated and one of the nicest gentlemen I've ever met.

Always wished I could have learned the short game like Liz. He always asked how my family was at the begining of the round. He was a competitor and a friend. My deepest sympathies go out to the Heckmans.

My condolences to the Heckman family. Liz was one of the finest gentleman I met while coaching and serving as a fellow athletic administrator. He was always available to shed a different perspective on many of the daily situations that we all faced. He will be missed.
