There is never any words that can comfort or console the soul in trying times such as this. Only memories that we can reflect upon that bring smiles and giggles to evey one of us that knew Mike as he grew from a rambuncious little boy to and man that had the respect and admiration of all those he touched. Just know that he continues to watch over you all and will protect from the Heavens as he did form the Earth.

Dear, Lisa Skip and Carly

I had a great time with mike for as long as i can remember. I've known him at least 12years of my life and they were the best of my life. I remember we used to throw football when he had the chance or we run around chasing me, it was fun. And lisa and Skip i am
really sorry for missing out on the funeral, my dad being a real stubborn to me that night. So i am really sorry. I also remember when i used to skate with him alittle bit, it was fun even though i wasn't very good at but thats not the point the point is i really had a great time with him and my thoughts and prayers are with you both. I think we will all get along fine, but it will take a long time cause mike was just a great person. When i had heard about the accident i was in shock i had never thought that such a thing so tragic would happend so randomly it was the worst thought that i had on my mind that night. So again i wish you my thoughts and prayers.

Lisa, Skip and Carly,
Tony and I have so many memories of your entire family. We had so many good times on your block. Late nights on the front porch or out in the back yard, or the many parties at beckys. Mike was a wonderful person, always smiling and skating. Earth lost an angel the same day that heaven gained one. God Bless you and your family during this difficult time. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. God will see you through.
love,
Tony and Tara Witman

Mike and his survivors,
It is such a shame that a tragedy like this had to strike everyone. Mike was a great guy in all that he did. He will continue to do his good works in his next place, with his skateboard in his hand. Just remember all the good he has brought to you and the joys that he has instilled, pass them on to his lovely daughter and remind her every day of what a terrific person he once was. Rest in Peace Michael, and may God bless all who survive him.

Mike,
I cant even begin to describe how much of a blow this is to all of us. You were a motivation to us all, whether it was through skating, or just sitting down and talking about whatever came to mind, you were always there. Were all going to continue to skate, and keep you in our minds every time we step on the board. My next griptape design is for you my friend. Shine down on us, and help us land those tricks.

"I guess heaven was needing a hero
Somebody just like you
Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe
And follow it through
When I try to make it make sense in my mind
The only conclusion I come to
Is heaven was needing a hero
Like you"

Forever in our hearts <3,
