Michael Kozak Obituary

Michael F. "The Pepsi Man" Kozak, 65, passed away April 14, 2018, in the loving company of his sister and brother in his Reading residence.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Thaddeus S. and Mary A. (Accordino) Kozak.

Michael worked for more than 40 years for local Vocational Work Shops.

He was a member of St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church.

Michael was an avid Penn State Football fan and loved all Philadelphia sports teams. He enjoyed time at the beach, smooth jazz music by Michael Lington and Brian Culberson, and also enjoyed Tom Jones, and although he was known as "The Pepsi Man," his favorite beverage was iced tea.

Michael had challenges in life but he loved to do things for others and proved to all of us that he had abilities, not disabilities.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Kozak; and his brother, Thaddeus S. Kozak Jr., both of Reading; and by his goddaughter, MacKenzie Wilson, of State College.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in St. Benedict RC Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Rd., Mohnton, PA 19540. Friends may pay their condolences on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the church at the above address.

Gallman-Sonoski Funeral Home Inc., is honored to be handling Michael's arrangements.
