Mildred Biros Obituary


Mildred S. Biros of Reading died December 2nd in Hershey Medical Center. She was 82 years young.

She was the wife of the late Matthew F. Biros Sr., who predeceased her on June 14, 2003. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan (Lukas) Greytock.

Mildred was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Reading.

She served in the Mothers Club of the church as well as Central Catholic High School Mothers Club. In 1992, Mildred retired after 23 years working for the Reading School District Food Services Department.

She was predeceased by one brother, John Greytock.

Mildred was a loving mother and grandmother to two sons, Matthew F., husband of Lynn of San Diego, CA; Michael J., husband of Angel of Reading, PA; one daughter, Marlene T. of Blandon, PA. Also surviving is one sister, Eleanor Kuter of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and one brother, William Greytock of Wilkes-Barre. Mildred also has three grandchildren: SummerRose Biros of Reading, PA; Thomas Biros of Reading, PA; and Michael Gomez, of San Diego, CA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1018 N. 8th Street, Reading, PA - Rev. Michael Mullins, Celebrant. Relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mildred's memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1018 N. 8th Street, Reading, PA 19604. Cramp Funeral Home, Reading, PA has charge of arrangements.

Matt, Mike & Marlene Please accept my condolences, I know how difficult it is to lose both parents. Please know that your Mom, Dad and you and your familiies are all in my prayers. Have a lot of fond memories of your Mom & CCHS mothers club. She was alway such a happy person.

Marleen, Matt and Mike, I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Min passing. She went through a lot recently, but there are many great memories to hold on to.
Through our Faith, we believe she is
in a better place without pain and we need to draw strength/recovery from God.
