She was born in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Grant) Mulrain. She was the loving wife of Donald A. Brown Sr., who died in 1991.
She was a parishioner of Assumption BVM in Colesville.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Gail, wife of Harold L. Kahn Jr.; Lynn, wife of Joseph J. Monek Jr.; and Donna Lorah; brother, Charles Mulrain; her 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, David G. and Donald A. Brown Jr.; and siblings, Helen Weber and Peter Mulrain.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Assumption BVM, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Colesville, PA 18015. Viewing from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

I will miss our weekly visits at Phoebe. I have
been visiting with Muriel since May of last year
and I told her that she added so much to my
life. It has been a privilege to know her.
She loved her daughters more than life itself.
