Nicholas Denunzio Obituary


Nicholas A. Denunzio, 75, Reading, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 27, in the St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where he had been admitted earlier in the day.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon L. (Schaeffer) Denunzio.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Arnold and Elizabeth (Lewalski) Denunzio.

He was employed by Weis Supermarkets, Exeter Township, for several years.

He was a Navy veteran.

He is survived by five children; three stepgrandchildren; several grandchildren; and a sister, Anna E. Kemp of Reading.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, PA 19604.
