He was the husband of Sheila R. (Gabrielson) Gallagher.
Born Philadelphia on Feb. 4, 1953, he was the son of the late Patrick Neal Gal-lagher and the late Marian (Laird) Gallagher.
He was a graduate of Roxborough High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Kutztown University. Patrick was employed in the Arc Melting Department at CarTech for 34 years, retiring in 2008.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers: Mark Gallagher of Fort Worth, Texas, Donald Gallagher of Upper Dublin, PA, and Robert Gallagher of Philadelphia, PA; a sister, Anne Santaniello of Philadelphia; nine nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
