Township, and recently of Colorado, died suddenly Saturday, December 22, 2018, in his home.
Born in Coatesville, Chester County, he was the son of Edward M. and Rebekah G. (Hammond) Singer, with whom he was residing.
Patrick was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Bally. He was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School Class of 2005. In high school, Patrick enjoyed playing baseball, wrestling, was a member of the golf team and on the homecoming court. Patrick attended Lehigh County Community College, where he studied
business management.
An accomplished chef, Patrick held numerous positions as executive or sous chef at Plantation Country Club, Boise, Idaho, 13th Street Bistro, Boise, Idaho, The Ram
Restaurant, Sun Valley, Idaho, Three Forks Ranch, Savery, Wyo., Steamboat Grand Resort, Steamboat Springs, Colo., Amicci Trattoria, Alburtis, among others. Patrick had
impeccable work ethic and was admired and respected by his fellow peers.
Other interests were golfing (GHO 2017 Champion, Keene, N.H.), skiing (amazing!!!) and, of course, cooking for family.
In addition to his parents, Edward and Rebekah, Patrick is survived by a brother, Jon A. Singer, Hatboro,
Montgomery County. Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Eleanor R. (Forgione) Hammond, Elverson. There are also aunts and uncles: Maureen Meehan,
Michele and Joseph Quinn, Lesley Durr, Antoinette and Earl Finch; along with his cousin, Justin Finch. Patrick had great love for his family, and loved all, especially his
brother, Jon, playing the "movie quote" game 24/7! He will also miss his cat, "Bella," and dove, "Hope."
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
PATRICK'S THOUGHTS: "I suffer no more, so don't grieve...walk in the world for me, live moment to moment and know...I am with you all...always, xo..."

To Patrick's family. I am so very very sorry for your pain & loss. Although I did not know Patrick, I have had the opportunity over the years to get to know many beautiful people suffering with the disease of addiction. I lost my son as well; his name was Nick Hawkins. What I have learned is that most of these people are the most loving, compassionate and talented of all. They truly are the most amazing people I have had the honor to meet. By this write up, Patrick filled those shoes as well. This opioid epidemic has got to stop. I'm grateful that you were open and honest with his cause of death. I'm guessing Patrick would most likely want you to help fight this epidemic. Feel free to reach out, should you want to talk or want support. You have joined a club that nobody wants to be in and I "know" how your heart hurts. I'm so very sorry for the loss of your precious Patrick. From a fellow Berks County Mom who had her son taken by opioids as well.

Addiction is a horrific disease. Underneath everything, Pat was one of the most unique people I've ever met. I think some solace can be taken in the realization he's now free from suffering. To Rebekah - I am so sorry for the loss of your son. You fought so hard for him, and gave everything you had and more. You are a wonderful mother and one of the most loving people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. I pray you are doing as well as you can be with this loss. Remember the kind soul Pat had, and how special he was - separate the man from the disease, and cherish the beauty that he inherently held.
