Rebecca L. (Swisher) Batastini, 48, of Exeter Twp., PA passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Russell E. Swisher Jr. and Gwendolyn M. (Rice) of Oley Twp., PA. She was the loving wife of Christopher T. Batastini. Rebecca was a 1991 graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School. She was employed in Resolution Services for Vanguard in Malvern, PA. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena RC Church in Exeter Twp., PA. Surviving Rebecca, along with her parents and husband Christopher are: 1 daughter: Jacquelyn Batastini at home; and 1 sister: Diana S. Burckhart, wife of Andre of Sinking Spring, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike Reading, PA 19606. A visitation will be from 9:00AM-10:00AM at the church, prior to mass. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society online at www.nationalmssociety.org Dengler Funeral Home, Inc. Birdsboro, PA is in charge of arrangements.
