He was the husband of the late Fern M. (Hinkle) Adam, who died on Sept. 18, 2009.
He was born in Molltown, the son of the late Edward C. Adam and Katie A.D. (Herb) Adam.
Robert had worked at Lehigh Cement Co., Evansville, for 30 years prior to retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Pe-ter's United Church of Christ, Molltown.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth R. Adam, husband of Donna Adam, Kutztown; and Leonard S. Adam, husband of Patricia Adam, Temple; and a daughter, Roberta L. (Adam) Bohner, Laureldale.
Also surviving are four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Herbert Adam, Howard Adam and Charles Adam; and five sisters: Eva (Adam) Ahrens, Elda (Adam) Folk, Erma (Adam) Haas, Effie (Adam) Templin and Elinora (Adam) Hinks White.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. A viewing will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Moll-town.
