Rolly was a devoted husband and father and a beloved "Papa Rolly" to his six grandchildren.
Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Edward and Ruth (Wildermuth) DiSante.
Rolly owned and operated DiSante Roofing & Siding in Phoenixville for 36 years. The roofing business was a labor of love for him, as he strived for perfection for his customers. He enjoyed the many associations and friendships he gained while working in his chosen profession.
Surviving besides his wife are four sons: Rolland Jr., husband of Margie, Roxborough; Brian, husband of Heidi, Macungie; Anthony, husband of Kim, Upper Pottsgrove Township; and Nick DiSante, Philadelphia; two daughters, Natasha, wife of Daniel Moyer, Earl Township; and Maria, at home; two brothers, Edward, husband of Charlene, Massachusetts; and Michael, husband of Joan, Oregon; two sisters, Karen Wiedinmyer, and brother-in-law, John Rose, Trappe; and Lisa DiSante, San Diego, Calif.; and six grandchildren, who brought him great joy: Samantha, Emma and Luke Moyer; and Cailin, Erin and Megan DiSante.
He was predeceased by a nephew, Micah Wiedinmyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Trinity EC Church, 250 Swinehart Road, Boyertown. Officiating will be the Rev John Friedlund. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. There will be a viewing Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Birthright of Pottstown, 327 King St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown.
