Ronald was born in Reading on May 3, 1950, a son of the late Carrie V. (Brown) and Robert W. Sowers.
He loved sports,especially the Phillies, and he also loved pets and music. Ron was also a former member of the Reading Hose Fire Company.
Ronald is survived by three sisters, Carolyn F. Mervine of Reading, Barbara E. Fetter of Oley, and Karen L. George of Exeter Twp.; and two brothers, Robert A. Sowers of Reading, and Kenneth I. Sowers of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six sisters: Virginia Sowers, Madelyn Stanley, Patricia Dinino, Nancy Sowers, Marie Carithers, and Margaret Sowers.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1501 N. 11th St., Reading, is in charge of the arrangements.
