Born in Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Carmela (Buda) Gallo. She and her husband owned and operated Mountain View Mushroom Company, Temple, until their retirement in 1974.
She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
She is survived by one daughter, Carmen L., wife of Rocco D. Colavito, Bern Township, with whom she last resided, and three grandchildren, Rocco Colavito Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Las Vegas, NV; Marisa, wife of Joseph McGrath of Muhlenberg Township; Steven Colavito and wife, Kelly, of Blandon; and five great-grandchildren, Violet Colavito, Megan, wife of Michael Bermudez, and Gina, Angelina and Shannon Colavito. There is also one sister-in-law, Blanche Gallo, in New York. She was predeceased by five brothers, James, Joseph, Anthony, Roger and Charles Gallo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church, Hyde Park. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Friends may call Friday one hour prior to service time in the church. The Milkins Giles Funeral Home Inc., Temple is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
