Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of Cynthia S. (Butt) and Charles E. O'Donnell of Fleetwood, PA.
Rourke was a graduate of Brandywine Heights Area High School, received his Associate in Specialized Technology Degree in Internet/Network Engineering at Berks Technical Institute, his BS in Computer Information Systems at Alvernia University and spent a semester abroad at UCD, Dublin, Ireland. He was currently attending Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, pursuing a Master's of Divinity.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Siobhan Mairead O'Donnell of Philadelphia; brother, Charles E. O'Donnell III, also of Philadelphia; grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
His memorial service will be held at the Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley, 930 North 4th St. Allentown, PA 18102, on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
