Sara Pugliese Obituary
Sara (Scotto-DiLuzio) Pugliese, 52, of Reading, passed away December 14, 2018.
She was the wife of Giacomo Pugliese to whom she was married for over 30 years.
Born March 16, 1966, in Monte di Procida, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo Scotto DiLuzio and Anna Maria Scotto DiUccio. When Sara was six years old, she and her family immigrated from Italy to America, and moved to Reading, Pa.
Sara had a good heart; she was everyone's best friend, and was like a mother and sister to many. She was loved by many all over the world.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is her son,
Salvatore Vincenzo Pugliese, at home; and her siblings: Maria DiScala, of Exeter Township, Mena Scotto DiLuzio, Gennaro Scotto DiLuzio, Antonio Scotto DiLuzio and
Michela Scotto DiLuzio, all of Reading.
She is also survived by five nieces and nephews: Giovanna, Ciro, Giorgino and Mauro DiScala and Vincenzo Antonio Scotto DiLuzio; and five great-nieces and nephews: Giorgino, Gabriella, Giovanna, Adam and Mia DiScala.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, Pa. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be private at Gethsemane Mausoleum.

Sara I can't believe your gone! It was so so sad to hear of your passing Not only were you a gracious and god fairing person/angel you were my angel on my shoulder! You taught me that no matter how your day is going there is always a happy place somewhere in those 24 hrs and to always look for the good in people but always remember their human just like you and I. You will be forever missed!! I still have my mountain bike y'all surprised me with for my birthday almost 20 years ago and I'll never ever get rid of it cause it much more than a bike or a present it was the first time someone showed me what happiness could be!!
