My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Greenberg. I've know him since I was a child. He and Mary took very good care of my mother while she worked for them. They treated her like family. Dr. Greenberg inspired so many people and helped me through some difficult times in my life. I am sure he has my Mom baking him something in heaven right now.

Dearest Louise,
I was shocked to see the passing of Dr. G. I had just spoken to him about a week ago and he told me he was home recovering from surgery and his hospital stay. I had no idea he was not doing well. I am so glad I had the chance to speak to him. I know he has been through alot and he is no longer in pain. He was truly an amazing and inspiring person. I remember when my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer, I reached out to him and he had alot of positive things to say and always made me feel that things were going to be okay. We had alot of nice chats and I'm gonna miss talking to him. I still can't believe he is gone, but here at the Academy, we will always remember him for his hard work and genuine personality. We hope the memories you have will carry you through this most difficult time. I am going to try and make the viewing on Thursday, but if I can't, I will call you in the coming days. You are all in our thoughts & prayers. RIP Saul! You were the best.

I had the pleasure of working with Saul while I was a graduate assistant in the Criminal Justice Dept at WCU in 1985. He was a caring educator, a true Phillies fan and a great guy.

Our family (Travis') moved across the street from Saul in 1973. Saul was a great guy to me and I enjoyed his company over the years. I attended many Phillies games with him, including the 1993 World Series. I also shared his love of cars and will never forget how much he loved a Cadillac I once had. Rest in Peace Saul
