Salisbury Township.
Born and raised in Kutztown, he
attended Kutztown High School.
A butcher by trade, Stephen was employed
at Dietrich Meats and Country Store for the past 28 years and previously at Peters Brothers Meat Market, both in Lenhartsville.
He was a member of the Kutztown Rod and Gun Club,
the social club of the Kempton Fire Company and a former member of the Virginville Fire Company. An avid outdoorsman, Stevie enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a NASCAR fan and was looking forward to the Super Bowl. Stevie enjoyed traveling with his friends and had created many happy memories on several ocean cruises even
enjoying a little gambling on the ship. He was looking
forward to the next cruise.
Survivors include a family of wonderful friends who treasured their time spent with Stevie. He touched their lives and they, his.
A Celebration of Stevie's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Krumsville Hotel, 1538 Krumsville Rd., Lenhartsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stevie's memory to the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary,

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Stevie. He was a friend forever to anyone that knew him. He was a hard working man. I will never forget the bear hugs he gave everytime he saw us. May you RIP.
