Stephen Ondik Obituary
Stephen Edward Ondik, 46, of Reading, passed away on May 11, 2018, in the Reading Hospital.
Born on December 26, 1971, he was the son of Stephen Ondik Jr. and the late Janis (Koprowski) Ondik, who passed away in June of 1991.
Stephen was a 1990 graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and attended LaRoche College in Pittsburgh from 1990-1993.
He spent 25 years working primarily as a mechanic in the direct mail industry, last working for Jetson Specialty
Marketing in 2017.
Stephen was a passionate rail fan and an avid license plate collector. He was an enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan and a frustrated Phillies fan. He had a love for traveling and family. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, he is survived by girlfriend, Nancy L. Miller, Royersford; and sister, Stacey M., wife of Jesse C. Strausser, Shoemakersville.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 15, from
6-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday May 16, from 10-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in
Stephen's memory to John & Dorothy Morgan Cancer Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
