Just heard of Mr. Aubrey's passing. I also was born in Hazleton, Pa. I now live and work in Michigan, where I am the Financial Secretary Treasure for a Security and Police Officer's Union. Mr. Aubrey was my English teacher, and he was coach of the basketball team, I wasn't very good, but he always let in the games for at least a few minutes. I was not very good at golf either, but he lelt me play with the team at all the practice sessions at the Berkleigh Country Club. He was a good teacher and always very nice to me. I follow his son's golf travels.

Mrs. Aubrey, I am so sorry for your loss. Mr A was so much more than just a teacher....he was a mentor for many students. I was fortunate enough to have him as a teacher during my senior year at Wyomissing High from 1982-1983. Do any of you Wyomissing Alumni remember the Jabberwocky? I still have my copy from my graduating class. I will cherish my fond memories.

Dear Judy, Emlyn and Lynne,
I just heard about Tom's death. I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine attending a golf match and him not sitting in the car reading a book. Thank you for allowing me many memories with your family and taking me under your wing when I began teaching. I pray for your comfort and peace through the memories you have of him. You now have another angel looking over you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was so very influential in my life -- I named my firstborn Aubrey after him. I remember his inspiring my interest in criminology and even arranging for me to be "locked up" in the Wyomissing jail for a couple of hours just to know how it feels. What a GREAT teacher. I have full and wonderful memories of him. My deepest condolences on your loss - - Judy, Emlyn and Lynne. My thoughts are with you.
