Warren Cronrath Obituary

Warren E. Cronrath, age 95, of Pricetown, died in the morning hours of September 1st in his sleep of natural causes. He was the husband of the late Detta E. (Kline) Cronrath who passed on September 14, 2008. Warren was born in Ruscombmanor Township, and was the son of the late Henry H. Cronrath and Sallie L. (Leinbach) Cronrath. He was a long time member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading where he had served on church council, and had been an active participant with the church soup kitchen and with Sunday school. Warren had worked for many years at Specialty Design, Reading retiring in 1996. Every year in spring he would prepare a huge vegetable garden, which he took great pride in maintaining it. He also was a truck person, using it to work on his garden and providing enjoyment in taking long drives through the country side. Surviving is his daughter Mandy D. Cronrath and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A viewing will be Saturday September 11th from 10:00AM to noon at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc. 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA. Graveside services will follow at Pricetown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in memory of Warren to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 421 Windsor Street, Reading, PA 19601.
