Robert Faulknor Obituary
Robert was born in Burlingame and spent his formative years in Redwood City, Belmont, San Rafael and San Francisco. Robert worked for Bank of America before selling cars for his family's used car business. He went on to work in retail sales for David Varner Chevrolet, S and C Ford and Burlingame Ford before returning to his family business wholesaling cars. A serious motorcycle accident forced him into early retirement at Clear Lake.
Robert raced cars, rode motorcycles and was an avid gardener and fisherman, catching many fish at Clear Lake. He left an indelible imprint on many lives. His family and many friends will sorely miss him.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4085 Main Street, Kelseyville, CA 95453.

To the Faulknor Family:
I heard from my neighbor, Ev, who was Joyce's roommate out of high school, about the terrible loss of Robert. Words are empty at this point often, but we are praying for the Lord to ease your grief and pain.
Gary and I were just looking at some old pictures the other day of mom playing tennis at the club and I think of you all often. It all sometimes seems so long ago but then just like yesterday.

I will miss my cousin although we have not seen each other in years. The times we spent were memorable. As cousins we got along great. I remember the stories of Robert catching all the different types of fish in Clearlake. He always knew were the fish were and they seemed to be drawn to him.
My condolences go out to Uncle Forrest,Aunt Mary, Micheal Laure, Patrick,Guy,Jimmie and Lucie. And their families.
I wished that I could have gone up there and fished with Robert one more time.

I have such fond memories of Robbie as a little boy at the house on Victoria Street in SF. My prayers and love to all my Faulknor cousins and Aunt Mary & Uncle Forrest.
