Albert Pakutka Obituary

Albert Pakutka, 89, of Plainville, died March 12, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Fedler) Pakutka.
He was born April 3, 1919, and was an Army veteran who had been deployed to Gualtel Canal during World War II as a machine gunner. He had also owned and operated Victory Auto Sales for more than 25 years in New Britain. He enjoyed collecting antiques and he was an avid scrap metal recycler.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Darlene Tacinelli and her husband, Michael, of Haddam Neck; two sons, Albert and Ronald, of Plainville; two grandsons, Richard and Michael; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Anthony, John, Adam and Joseph.
The funeral was held on March 16, 2009, at the Venskunas Funeral Home, New Britain, followed by a Mass at St. Andrews Church. A full military burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville. The family would like to thank Farmington Care Center for their kindness and support for all the care that Albert received there.
