A great teacher, had her in 3rd grade Class of '89 Thomas Hooker School. She taught so much to so many- and that paperweight collection!

Mrs. Camp was my third grade teacher at Thomas Hooker in 1979. She was very fond of American history. She is the one that is responsible for instilling this same passion in me and for this, I will forever be grateful. My family and I loved seeing her and her husband at bingo night. They would always come over to talk to us and make me feel special. Rest in peace dear teacher.

Not only was Alice one of my favorite teachers (yes, 3d grade @ Nathan Hale), she also helped transition me from a class wise guy to a student who believed in himself. I was probably not the only third-grader to propose to her, but many years later I learned she kept the purple ring I used for the proposal. Requiescat in pace, Miss Wiese!

Alice was the Park's surrogate mother- a rough task to be sure. We all loved her, and I could never imagine anything happening to her. God Bless you, Alice...make sure the angels in the back the bus all sit down.

Aunt Alice was the best. Always great with postcards from various trips, and Christmas was always a treat with a box full of goodies from her travels with Uncle Bob. I'm going to miss the multitude of pencils she would send.

Thank You for the memories of going to bingo then pizza at Verdolini's. I remember being in your 3rd grade class and learning cursive writing. Oh, and how you loved to write a letter. I only wish I had your knitting skills. You will be missed.

What a wonderful and inspirational woman. She was my 3rd grade teacher at Nathan Hale School back in the 60's. Ms. Weise gave her students education, discipline and a desire to learn. She made an impact on my life. My condolences to her family.
