Corrine Pyskaty Obituary

WALLINGFORD - Corrine M. Fuller Pyskaty, 91, of Quinnipiac St., Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Pyskaty, died unexpectedly, Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Wallingford, July 15, 1917, a daughter of the late James and Lumena Leveille Fuller, she had been a lifelong Wallingford resident. Corrine was a graduate of Holy Trinity School, class of 1931 and Lyman Hall High School, class of 1935. She had been employed by the Town of Wallingford Water Department for 15 years, until her retirement and was a member of the Polish National Alliance, Group No. 513, of Wallingford, and the Wallingford Senior Center. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford and a member of the former Mother's Circle of the parish.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Gianotti; her three sons, James J. Pyskaty and his wife, Karin, Vincent F. Pyskaty and Thomas F. Pyskaty and his wife, Sheila, all of Wallingford; her eight grandchildren, Katherine Pyskaty, Anna Hladky and her husband, Jeff, Jayden Gianotti, Keith Gianotti, Tyler Gianotti, Rhiannon Gianotti, Shannon Nicholson and her husband, Scott and Brittany Pyskaty; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna M. Fuller Chandler.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wallingford, Thursday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, were a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to Most Holy Trinity Church, 68 North Colony St., Wallingford. www.wallingfordfh.com.
