Dylan DiValentino Obituary

KENSINGTON - Dylan Robert DiValentino, 21, of Kensington, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, due to a motorcycle accident.

Survived by his mother, Lisa DiValentino; his beloved sister, Darien Lea DiValentino, of Kensington; father, Darren DiValentino, of New Britain; and his faithful German Shepherd, Brody. Dylan was employed as a glazier with Cherry Hill Glass Company of Branford on the job at the 400 Atlantic St. building in in Stamford. He was a union member of IUPAT DC 11 and second year apprentice of the Finishing Trades Institute Company of New England. He was a 2014 Berlin High School graduate. His previous jobs were at Harbor Freight Tools, Kensington Construction Company, and his first job was bat boy for the Rock Cats. Dylan was a hardworking young man with a special sense of humor. He had a good heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Dylan loved his toys; riding his Harley, working on cars, burnouts, plow jobs, his "Pinky Rang" and especially enjoyed his Sundays at the river on his jet ski and boat with Kyle; "Sunday's are for the boyz." He was close with cousins, Kyle and Zach; and auntie, Linda and Kelly. Survived by his maternal grandparents, Papa Paul and Vivi Haynes; and many aunts, uncles; and cousins. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Papa Hugo and MaryAnn "Mimi" DiValentino; also his extended Patel family Nihir "Habib", Ishwa and baby Sanvi. His special friends, Jeff Jagiello, Tina Peck and family, Jon and growing up with Josh and Mary Belanger. He had many memories dirt bike riding with cousin Steven at the Whites'. He loved working with all the guys on the Stamford crew and especially Turk's "Work your Wrist Friday." Dylan had many goals and was on the right path in life.

Dylan,

During our very last boat trip of the year I looked at you in your pure blissful state and started to think about how much I love you. I was lost in thought thinking of what I would say to someone to describe what my brother means to me. I will forever be one half of a whole without you.

"Two Tickets to Paradise"

I love you so much

-Your little sister

My deepest condolences to all of you for the loss of such a precious Son. Although I did not know him, he worked with my daughter Lisa at Harbor Freight and I remember his friendly face, she spoke well of him, nice boy. May he rest forever in the arms of the angels, watch over you, and live in your heart forever...May God grant you peace and strength in your hour of need.
