Gerald J. Anziano, 71, of Meriden, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, at MidState Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Ginette (Lavoie) Anziano. Gerald was born in Meriden, August 19, 1952, a son of Lorraine (Draper) Anziano and the late Joseph J. Anziano, Jr. He retired after a long career at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and was an avid fan of the NY Giants and Boston Red Sox. He adored his family and also his boxer dogs. In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his sons, Jeremy Anziano and Jesse Anziano and his wife Melissa; his grandchildren, Eve, Joseph, Karpice, Arielynn, Remo, Kora, Enzo and Ruger Anziano; his sister, Barbara St. Pierre (Charles); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Anziano. Gerald's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, Sept. 28th from 4 to 7pm in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 am. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden. www.wallingfordfh.com
