Leanne Zaborowski Obituary
Born in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Katherine Nessing Zaborowski and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from St. Stanislaus Parochial School and Platt High School. Miss Zaborowski was employed by the State of Connecticut, retiring five years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking and traveling.
She is survived by two brothers, John Zaborowski and his wife, Mary, of Watertown and Paul Zaborowski and his wife, Nancy, of Meriden; two nieces, Lisa and Karen Zaborowski; two nephews, John and Mark Zaborowski; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 7, at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, and at 11:15 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Stanislaus Church Restoration Fund, 82 Akron St., Meriden, 06450 or to MidState Medical Center Cancer Care Center, attn: Gail Millerick, Development Office, 435 Lewis Ave., Meriden, 06451. www.jferryfh.com.

John, Mary, Paul and Nancy. My heart is saddened by your loss. The memories I have of Lee are very precious to me, and I will always hold them dear to my heart. I was so blessed because you kept me posted, and I was able to talk to her almost to the end. You are all in my prayers.
