Linda Gleason Obituary
Linda was born in New Haven on Feb. 29, 1928, daughter of the late George M. and Charlotte Roberts Monroe and had worked for Yale University Libraries for over 40 years.
She was the mother of Joyce G. McDonough, Frank (Beth) McDonough III and Kathleen (Michael) McGarry; grandfather of Erin McDonough, Megan (James) Bergeron, Kelly McDonough and Elizabeth McGarry; sister of Dorothea Moore, George (Joan) Monroe, Wallace Monroe and the late Charlotte Ramsay, Shirley Melton and Katharine "Emily" Trufan.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday, Oct. 30, at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. The visiting hours will be Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.

I also worked for many years in the Yale library..I think Linda arrived a few years after me and I found her very supportive if there was a problem she could help with....sorry to just learn of her passing..my condolences to family and friends..
