I worked with Lynne from 2000-2004 at the Record-Journal and always counted on her throughness as a librarian and humor and wisdom as a person to make a tough job easier. Lynne was a great listener and a great person who will be missed.

Lynne has a special humor which combined with her voice will always be one of my fondest memories.
I'll miss the hours of trying to figure out how many cousins removed we are.
I'm sure she knew what really happened at Roswell.

Dear Pete, Pam and Peter,
My heart is so sad to learn of Lynne's passing. She will always be alive in my heart, remembering her humor, her faith and love for all of you. She had the most beautiful smile and was an inspiration of faith for me. This world has lost a beautiful soul and I will cherish her memory, until we can see each other again in His glory. God bless you, Penny (Jonas) Cabata

Although I did not know Ms Turdin personally, I enjoyed her historical columns each week and I mourn her passing.

To Lynne's family: My deepest condolences on the loss of your dear Lynne. How she made us laugh at the R-J with her dry sense of humor. It was so wonderful to still be in touch with her after her retirement and sharing a supper just a while back with her and the "girls". She was the best librarian and left us with a wealth of history at our fingertips. My deepest regret is that I'm in Maine and not able to attend her services. Rest easy dear friend, Barbara Parent

I am so saddened to hear that Lynn passed away. I will always remember her as a kind, caring person with a sense of humor that would catch you off guard. I have such fond memories of the girls social gatherings at Barb's house during the holidays. I will miss our friend, Lynn.

I'm so very sad to hear this news. Lynne was a true joy to work with; she always had some funny little offbeat thing to say. She will be greatly missed by all of us who knew her at the R-J.

My deepest condolences to Lynn's family on their loss. I spent a summer with Lynn in the library at the Record-Journal and she was such a pleasure to work with, so funny and smart. She was always one of my favorite people there. She will be sincerely missed.

Pete, Peter Jr. and Pam:
Where do I start? First my sincerest sympathy go out to you and your family. Your wife and mom meant a lot to me. She will always be my Aunt Clara. She made me laugh so hard some times I had to leave the room. She was warm, friendly, trustworthy, caring, brilliant, my farmville buddy and most of all she was my friend. I will always remember the times we shared at Barbara's house at Christmas, the talks we had about her vacations, her love for Sonic and her stories about the CIA. She told me once "if she told me to much about the CIA she would have to kill me."
I will miss Lynne very much.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Pete, Pam, and Mr. Turdin, my deepest condolences on your loss. I was shocked to hear about it and though it is little consolation, remember all of the great times. Pete, your Mom was always kind and had a joke and a smile whenever I saw her around town and was always so supportive of our creative endeavors. That's what made her such a great person.
