Margaret Labecki Obituary

"Loving aunt"

Margaret (Hardwick) Labecki, age 89, of Wallingford, formerly of Waterbury and Meriden, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 28, 2018 at MasoniCare in Wallingford. She was the beloved widow of Stanley J. Labecki.

Margaret was born Dec. 26, 1928 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Audrey and Alice (Ritchie) Hardwick. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary at Uniroyal in Naugatuck, where she worked for many years. Margaret was a member of the Wallingford Country Club, the Uniroyal Women's Club, and a volunteer at Ashlar Village in Wallingford.

She leaves many nieces and nephews, including her niece, Cheryl Trzaski and her husband, Raymond, of Wolcott, Deborah Nadasky and her husband, Steve, of Goshen; and many great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Raymond Hardwick; and a sister, Evelyn Ronalter.

Arrangements: A funeral will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 9:15 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, Conn., to St. Mary Magdalen Church for Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Meriden.
