Matthew LaMarche Obituary
Born in Meriden on April 3, 1974, he was the son of Claudine (Gwara) Roy and Arthur Roy III. He attended Lincoln Tech Institute for HVAC and was planning on graduating in September. He was a member of Project Hatchet and loved Psychopathic Underground music, spending time with his children and family gatherings.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Dacoda Reiss; a son, Tagger Colby; a brother, Ricky; his girlfriend, Shushy; and numerous family members and friends.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at the Hubbard Chapel in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 817 Old Colony Road, Meriden. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in memory of Matthew. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden. www.jferryfh.com

Matt has been a part of my life since i was 13. during the course of our lives we would go from hangin out everyday to not seeing each other at all for years at a time. after 4 years of not hearing from him he called me wanting to hangout. saying he was living in meriden again. We hung out that night and it was like we had been hanging out every night since high school. I will miss his energy, enthusiasm and sense of humor... I will also miss him picking on me and annoying me its hard to get mad at someone who is pinching and poking you when they seem to be enjoying it so much. He is my best friend and i will never stop missing him.

You were the only cousin I had and I will miss you with all my heart. I will hold with me everything we went through as kids all the way to adults the good and the bad. From the best grilled cheese my black eye when I was 4 the dirt bike and that you were so smart and could spell anything unlike me. I am so glad you were in my life.

Matt, I did not know you long however, I feel blessed to have known you at all. You were always very kind to me and I am thankful for how well you treated my friend Sara and for how deeply you loved her. I believe you are with our Lord now and that you are at peace. You will be deeply missed.

Matt was a great guy who cared a lot about his family and friends. He lived for his children, Dacoda and Tagger. He was such a proud father, all he wanted was to see them. I know that he will always be in their hearts. He was working toward building a life with his girlfriend, Sara. They were so happy. Seeing them together, it was clear they truly loved eachother. I'm so fortunate to have known Matt. We will miss him very much.
